
Sally King
Creative, curious and hands-on, Sally brings a diverse background across design, hospitality and loyalty marketing to her role as Marketing Consultant at DNS Specialist Services. With deep roots in the club industry and a career shaped by creativity and adaptability, Sally supports clients with marketing that is visually strong, customer-focused and grounded in real venue experience.
Experience:
Originally from a small town on the NSW–Victoria border, Sally’s career began with a passion for design and a strong connection to the club industry. While studying Graphic Design, she worked at her local RSL club, gaining hands-on experience across waitressing, bartending, reception and the gaming floor - building a practical understanding of venue operations from the ground up.
Sally’s design career launched in the pet food industry before moving into signage and uniform production, where she worked on a wide range of large-scale projects. From national retail packaging and Supercars graphics to producing 10,000 Woolworths vests during the COVID social distancing rollout, Sally developed strong skills in creative execution, production management and working to tight deadlines.
After COVID, Sally transitioned into a Loyalty & Membership Marketing role in Wollongong, where she supported member engagement initiatives, campaigns and communications - combining her creative skillset with data-driven marketing and customer experience insights.
With a strong sense of adventure, Sally has travelled extensively across Europe (twice), and after soaking up new perspectives and experiences, she joined DNS Specialist Services to bring her creativity, industry knowledge and enthusiasm to the team.

Outside of work, Sally loves travelling and jumping at any opportunity to explore new places. She’s an artsy soul who enjoys painting, pottery and anything that allows her creativity to flow. When she’s not creating, she’s likely in the kitchen cooking or baking, or spending quality time with friends and family - especially her new favourite role as aunty to her much-loved nephew.
A fun fact - Sally comes from a true club family, with both parents working in the industry for around 30 years, alongside her sister and brother. And from her signage days, she’s even designed Australian Military Police cars and bikes - which still makes for a very cool spot when she sees them out in the wild.
