Marketing and hospitality are at the core of Tyler’s career. With extensive experience delivering end-to-end marketing activity across promotions, campaigns, events and ongoing venue programs, Tyler works closely with DNS Specialist Services clients to plan and execute marketing that is practical, cohesive and commercially focused. His approach centres on understanding how marketing operates in a live venue environment — ensuring strategy and execution align seamlessly with day-to-day operations.
Experience:
Tyler has held Marketing Manager roles across multiple clubs, supporting venues with campaign planning, loyalty and membership initiatives, digital marketing, creative development and performance reporting. His work often sits at the intersection of marketing strategy and hands-on delivery, ensuring ideas are realistic, compliant and achievable within operational constraints.
Before specialising in marketing, Tyler worked frontline in hospitality venues as a Duty Manager and Restaurant Manager. This hands-on experience provides him with a strong appreciation of service delivery, staff workflows and customer experience - insights that continue to inform his marketing recommendations today.
Earlier in his career, Tyler worked within advertising agencies and as a freelance web designer, building a strong foundation across branding, digital platforms and creative execution. He holds a Bachelor of New Media from James Cook University and a Bachelor of Communication Design from Fachhochschule Würzburg, followed by a Masters of Advertising (Creative Advertising) from Queensland University of Technology. This diverse academic background underpins his strengths in audience insight, campaign development and strategic planning.
